Skating weekend

Yes... we had a very busy one. My daughter competing in Figure Skating in a regional competition called South Atlantics.... She was awesome. Wasn't even her best performances but she managed a Gold and 2 Silvers. And she placed 2nd in her freestyle which forwarded her on to compete in the FINAL ROUND... 4 groups - 36 kids and they take the top 3 place winners. We ended up going back up to Aston, PA today for the Finals and she received 9th out of 12. But technically that is 9th out of 36!! Top 25% of the top!! Right?

Megan's coaches are AMAZING!!! Come Monday, her pregnant coach was barfing on the side of the road and was a few minute late for her practice but I am NOT your typical skate mom and and I had to laugh....

Needless to say, it was an emotional weekend and tiring and frustrating but very nice.... I love that little girl of mine. She drives me crazy but she is so talented and she did tell me a million time that she loves me and she appreciates me taking of 2 days of work for her!

And the week rolls on...

Ok so I thought I would post another from my 3 sisters session.... They are so cute!

But yeah... so the week is screaming by. New changes at work and I got a boatload going on! Makes the days go faster.

But Wednesday night is "date night" with my beaux... can't wait... We had such a busy weekend it will be nice to have a good dinner at home and then use the fire pit I bought way back in the summer! Sweetness!

E A G LE S EAGLES

Off to the Eagles game today. Good times. Unfortunately in true Philly custom, they lost. Figures. Me, Kenny, Adam, Emily - the 4 of us had a great time. Tailgating and hanging out! Of course, my camera was along. Eagles fans are CRAZY!!! I hoola - hopped for the Captain and then Kenny took a picture of me with him! Got a free beanie cap too. AHHH... I love my crazy life!

3 sisters photo shoot

It was a gorgeous Fall afternoon when I took pics of 3 beautiful sisters (neighbors) I know. Their mother was looking for some shots of the girls since they haven't had something more than a snapshot for a long time. And she did mention something about needing a great Christmas card this year.

Off to the park we went. Our local park has a gorgeous barn and house nearby and we used all we could. Of course then there is always the swings and the slide to play on afterwards! I didn't edit these yet but I wanted to post a couple. All 3 girls are so pretty and they were excited to have new shots done!

And so we begin.... Welcome to the exciting adventures of my life - and I mean this in the most incredibly snarky way possible!

I am a single mother of 2. A 13 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. They are my life. They are extremely involved in many different activities and we are always on the run. I am hoping this blog gives me a chance to showcase some of my photography and give you all a smile and maybe even allow some people I haven't talked to in some time catch up with us!
